It is my privilege to welcome you to this web interface of the Directorate of Cashewnut and Cocoa Development, Cochin - a National Level Agency involved in the development of Cashewnut and Cocoa in the country from the year 1966 onwards. The Directorate completed 53 years of its glorious service to the nation in the year 2020. All through the years the Directorate has been pursuing the development schemes and programmes of Cashew and Cocoa amicably involving various stakeholders. The efforts of the Directorate has witnessed four fold increase in terms of area and six fold increase in terms of production of cashew and with the active support of Research and Development Organisations, progressively transformed the cultivation of both crops to be highly viable and economical.
